How Does Femodette Work?

Katya, also known as a combined oral contraceptive pill is used to prevent pregnancy. It does this by stopping ovulation and also making it hard for the sperm to get to the egg. Ethinylestradiol and gestodene are the two active ingredients in Katya pills. If taken as prescribed, Katya pills offer over 99% against pregnancy. Katya contains Ethinylestradiol and gestodene whose actions prevent ovulating and thicken cervical mucus. This makes it almost impossible for male sperm to get to the egg for fertilisation.
